   I haven’t seen it but the review and comments are quite complimentary. I’ll have to NetFlix it, to coin a phrase.

   On a different subject, have you ever been part of a DVD commentary? You know the ones that often have the director, some cast and/or the screenwriter? As a film fan and aspiring filmmaker, I have to say some of these are terrific, but many are not. I’d be interested in hearing your take on what you think should be on the commentary bonus track. Also have you heard any others in the industry talk about this?

   I rewatched Go about two weeks ago and loved it. Olyphant is finally coming into his own, as is Polly and Mohr and Fichtner. I was quite surprised to see Jane Krakowski of Ally McBeal fame as the coquettish housewife. The painfully awkward scene between Fichter and Mohr in the bedroom still makes me chuckle when I think of the final reveal.

   …I caught my 1 year old holding the DVD case for Go and caught a picture of it to show to you, but there’s no place to upload it. :)

   I taught myself screenplay format back in 1999/2000 using a draft of GO. It’s one of those rare screenplays that engages like a novel. I thought the director did a great job bringing it to the screen and watch it once or twice a year. I never tire of the Amway subplot, or the drug dealer (great performance) or the talking cat.

   This is a fantastic film. Loved it. Friend of mine was the gaffer. When I found out he worked on it I was kinda proud of him – felt warm and fuzzy that he’d lucked into such a cool film.

   Great Film. One of my all time indy favorites. I love the soap opera actors storyline. I thought they were straight until the liquor store scene. But when you watch it the second time it makes just as much sense and ads more tension to know that they are a couple. The switch/reveal was flawless. Makes sense both ways. Still have not scene a film do that better. 10 Anniversary DVD?

   Go is definitely my favorite thing you’ve done, John. And watching it in the past year, I was impressed by how well it’s aged given that it’s such an of-the-moment flick. Well done.
