The Nines at the Nuart

[nines poster]Wow. That was quick. Tickets are now available for the exclusive LA premiere of The Nines at the Nuart.

It’s three weeks away, but when you’re playing on one screen in a city of four million people, there’s a fair chance some of those screenings are going to sell out. So if you’re keen on going, you may want to click-and-buy today.

There are two special events opening day that will be of particular interest to blog readers:

Friday, August 31

  • I’ll be doing a Q&A along with cast after the 7:30 p.m. screening. It’ll be like Sundance, without the snow and badges.
  • We’ll stick around to introduce the movie for the 10:00 p.m. show.

Tickets are available on…

  • [MovieTickets.com](http://www.movietickets.com/housedetail.asp?houseid=464&rdate=8%2F31%2F2007 ) (direct link)

  • Moviefone (direct link)

  • Landmark’s site (you have to pick the date from the pop-up)

Details and tickets for the New York screenings — also starting August 31 — should be available soon. Check back.

  1. Nick says:

Are you expecting the entertainment media to embrace silly puns about the fact that “The Nines” and “The Ten” are being released around the same time? This has been on my mind for going on eight minutes.

  2. Adam says:

    What’s the expanded release date?

  3. RED says:

So when are you in Venice, and do you know the dates of the screenings there? Because, um, like, I’m going to be there.

  4. Mayank says:

Can’t wait to see the movie! By the way, will the producers be around at the screening on the 31st as well, along with you and the cast? MAYANK

    RED (#3):

I haven’t seen an official Venice schedule, but I think I’m allowed to tell you that our screening is September 3rd at 2:30 p.m., at whichever theater they’re doing Critics’ Week

    Mayank (#4):

I only know of one producer who’s coming, but some other key members of crew will be there.

  6. Shell says:

Wished I lived in America and could go the premiere sounds good, can’t wait to see this film. Is it being released on august 31st in the UK?

  7. Rachel W says:

Fantastic! I’m thrilled to hear this, especially as it’s just a few miles from my new apartment that I’m moving in to this weekend. I am glad to be in LA for once and not have to keep missing out on these things. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch the 7:30 screening.

  8. Mayank says:

Thanks for the update, John. I’m really looking forward to the screening. So is Bruce the one who’s going to be there?
