A neologism for screenwriters with blogs. (Or is it bloggers who write screenplays?) The collective Internet presence of these screenwriters is informally known as the “scribosphere”, a play on “blogosphere.”

Some screenbloggers focus primarily on screenwriting or entertainment industry business on their sites, while others maintain their blogs as a general web presence, incidentally discussing screenwriting as one of many subjects. There is currently no distinction between the two site styles.

Screenwriting blogs are written by both amateur and professional screenwriters.
