bad_version

A cliche, clunky or on the nose example used only to communicate what a yet-unwritten moment should convey.

For example, “I think we need a bit where the hero somehow outwits the bank robbers. The bad version would be him putting an exploding dye pack into the sack of money.”

The “bad version” is often used by producers when giving notes.
