HBO

Sue Naegle, my TV agent, is the new president of HBO Entertainment. I’ll miss her as an agent, but I’m very excited to see what she does with the network.

Tell her to bring back LUCKY LOUIE!!!! That show should NOT have been cancelled!!

D’oh, someone beat me to “tell her to bring back” but I’ll say it anyway, we need closure on DEADWOOD! I need a reason to re-subscribe to my recently cancelled HBO!

BTW, I’m somewhat ashamed of myself that this is my first post. But now that I’ve begun, who knows what will happen?

I like John. John has good sense. Which means he’s already told her to grant the faithful closure with Deadwood. So thanks for that, John.

Aside of that, I’m interested in what she’ll do, too. It’s pretty clear that HBO has fallen from being the go-to place for great series television, what with the great work being done on FX and Showtime, and “Mad Men” and “Breaking Bad” (not to mention Aronofsky’s new show) on AMC. (AMC!)

I like David Milch as much as anyone (see Deadwood comment, above), but JFC is not what HBO should be doing.

    Good luck to Sue.

That seemed like an awful lot of acronyms.

Breaking Bad on AMC is an AMAZING show!
