Comments are working again

newsApologies to any readers who found that their comments over the last few days fell into a black hole. The culprit was a new comment-spam filter which proved to be 100% effective.

It blocked everything. Sigh.

Everything should be fixed now. You’ll also notice that any new comments from John now show up with a little box around them.

For instance, this is an official comment.

    And this is not.

I would just like to say that my last two comments were absolutely brilliant. Probably the best comments ever made by a human being. Alas they were sucked into said black hole.

If John’s comments get a little box, I would like some nice hearts and flowers. And stars are always good.

John, ever since the update and the two anti-spam filters I emplyed (this one and lr2Spam) I’ve had zero spam comments. I used to delete at least thirty a day. I’m much, much happier (and get to spend more time with my loved ones, less time deleting spam). Speaking of loved ones, how’s the fam? Haven’t heard much on that front of late…

For some reason I never seem to get spam comments on my particular blog. But, also, I get absolutely no comments at all… What a sad world.

Honestly, the spam filter was like taking the 9th grade IQ test all over again. It was shock horror.

Did you use spam karma 2 by any chance ?

    I don’t see any box.

Story of my life, really . . .
